POSITION: Global Sales Executive
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORT TO: Director of Sales
LOCATION: Morris Meetings & Incentives – 101 S. 200 E., Suite 100, Salt Lake City, UT USA
HOURS: Full-time (Mon-Fri) 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Morris Meetings & Incentives (MMI) is a well-established industry expert in planning and carrying out incentive trips and meetings for groups and organizations. A Global Sales Executive (GSE) is responsible for proposing travel packages to businesses and, ultimately, directing trips and events that will be meaningful for our clients. A GSE also works closely with our Marketing Team, Flight Coordinators, and Event Coordinators. All work together in planning and executing successful events for our clients. MMI requires the candidate have the following abilities and qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS – Preferred (not mandatory):
• International Travel Experience
• Meetings & Incentives Industry Knowledge
• Financial Aptitude (including literacy in Microsoft Excel)
• Fluency in Second/Third Language

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Interfacing daily with new and existing clients through in-person sales visits, conference calls, and written communication
• Enjoying and being available for extensive international travel
• Researching and proposing inspiring destinations to clients
• Maintaining the accuracy of a client and vendor database
• Negotiating great deals for clients while facilitating vendor and client contracts
• Working with our Leadership Team, Marketing Team, and Operations Team in planning and executing successful events
• Being punctual to monthly sales meetings and any necessary vendor meetings
• Attending periodic tradeshows, on-site property inspections, and selected familiarization trips
• Directing meetings/incentive trips onsite to ensure client satisfaction


POSITION: Flight Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
LOCATION: Morris Meetings & Incentives – SLC Headquarters
HOURS: Full-time (Mon-Fri) 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Morris Meetings & Incentives is in the business of providing companies with meaningful experiences. We are well-established industry experts in planning and executing trips and events that will be remembered forever.

In the role of a Flight Coordinator, you will be assigned to book airfare for groups of people ranging from 20-1500 and making sure air travel runs as smoothly as possible. Working closely with an Event Coordinator, you will be in charge of organizing data to use for Arrival/Departure lists.

QUALIFICATIONS – Required:
• At least three years of experience with air reservations/ticketing
• Experience with group air contracts
• Proficiency in Excel and GDS software i.e., Sabre or Worldspan
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize well
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude under stressful conditions
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Fluent in Spanish

QUALIFICATIONS – Preferred:
• Experience with air contract negotiation
• Airline background in reservations or group sales/operations
• Wholesale air background

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
• Group air contract negotiation/renegotiation and management
• Obtaining group seating arrangements and creating seat maps for group flights
• Handling participant deviation requests
• Document printing and assembly
• Invoicing participants and processing payments
• Issuing tickets
• Creating arrival and departure lists for ground operators
• Tracking air profitability on groups
• Seeing groups off at the airport and/or being on-call for group travel


POSITION: Event Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
LOCATION: Morris Meetings & Incentives – SLC Headquarters
HOURS: Full-time (Mon-Fri) 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Morris Meetings & Incentives is a full-service incentive travel house with over 25 years of experience providing companies with meaningful travel experiences designed to reward their top clients or achievers.

Event Coordinators must be able to work well under pressure and gracefully manage the ever-changing day-to-day challenges of planning complex events, both domestic and international, with large numbers of participants.

Event Coordinators work closely with each program’s Sales Executive, its Flight Coordinator, and our marketing team to ensure the seamless, professional execution of every event detail.

QUALIFICATIONS – Required:

• At least two years of experience handling all aspects of meeting, incentive or event planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Extreme attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional college-level written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Positive attitude under stressful conditions
• Strong accounting and budgeting skills

QUALIFICATIONS – Preferred:
• Fluent in Spanish

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
• Managing finances/budget, reviewing/meeting contractual obligations, maintaining good client and vendor relationships, producing detailed planning documents, accurately assessing and communicating every client’s needs to our vendors
• Traveling with groups onsite as needed


POSITION: Event Support, Event Website, and Mobile Application Development
DEPARTMENT: Event Support
LOCATION: Morris Meetings & Incentives – SLC Headquarters
HOURS: Full-time (Mon-Fri) 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Morris Meetings & Incentives specializes in meaningful experiences for companies and their employees. As a well-established industry expert, we plan and implement trips and events our clients will remember forever.

The focus of your position will be to create event websites and mobile apps utilizing event planning software through Cvent platforms – Event Management and CrowdCompass.

Additionally, you will spearhead operational tasks such as keeping up with our company’s social media platforms, managing our MMI website, monitoring web traffic, and manage SEO efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS – Required:

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support or technically-based role
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel) and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be detail oriented and well organized with the ability to anticipate problems, multi-task, and prioritize time well
• Ability to work with all personality types
• Positive attitude under stressful conditions
• Self-starter, able to work productively with little supervision
• Communicate well with product managers, customer support, and other team members

QUALIFICATIONS – Preferred:

• Knowledge of the Cvent Event Management platform
• Meeting & Events Management, Hotel and Hospitality Industry experience preferably in supporting conferences, summits, or expos
• Basics of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Analyze and understand specific client needs to match and maximize Cvent software to align and meet their business needs
• Implement Cvent event software and technology in support of client events
• Responsible for technical design, task estimation, implementation, automated testing, debugging, and deployment
• Creation of mobile applications on the CrowdCompass platform
• Support and training for current employees on Cvent Event Management and CrowdCompass platforms

COMPENSATION:

• Compensation based on experience, skill level, and certifications
